Summary

Summary:          

The Director of Marketing will be a key member of the MTI leadership team.   The Director of Marketing will have overall responsibility for World Wide Marketing – including customer acquisition initiatives, branding, marketing strategy, marketing execution, internal and external communications, as well as product and sales enablement. The role is based at MTI’s headquarters in Hillsboro, Oregon.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both B2B marketing and marketing through strategic partnerships and grasp the latest tools and strategies to build a global brand and demand. The Director of Marketing must have a “customer view’ and utilize new and emerging strategies to capture the attention of the market as well as a passion for serving and enabling the success of the sales organization.

Global Responsibilities –

Marketing Strategy

  • Establishes vision, strategic direction, and leadership for the brand including the development and execution of end-to-end marketing programs, events, and communications that drive brand awareness, expansion, and demand within customers and new customer conversion.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive strategic marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of the organization.
  • Owns and drives performance marketing including customer acquisition strategies utilizing the latest trends and strategies to increase qualified lead generation.
  • Develops KPI’s for all marketing initiatives as well as year-long maintenance programs across all owned channels as well as external partnerships. Establishes a metrics-based approach to track and learn impact and ROI of marketing and sales initiatives.

Position Summary:

About the Job:

The Operations Specialist is the direct operational arm of MTI Connect accounts or programs.  This entry-level role is responsible for daily oversight of all operational aspects of and account or program; ensuring all tickets are scheduled and completed within SLA, monitoring visit completion rates and ensuring all visits are completed correctly.   • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
  • Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-state payroll operations
  • Knowledge of international payroll and tax processes with multiple withholding, benefits (health and welfare and retirement), and labor compliance
  • Experience with international payroll design, setup and processing
  • Experience with 401(k) and Global Pensions
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience
  • Knowledge of payroll related technology solutions
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks through prioritization of work load with strong attention to detail, accuracy and high efficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with ADP payroll platform, a plus

Supervisory Responsibility:    This position may have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:    Occasional local travel to our three locations in the Lake Oswego and Hillsboro area
