Job Title: Field Marketing Representative

Summary

This position is at the forefront of MTI Global Services’ Sales and Marketing efforts to increase client sales at the retail store level.  The candidate should have diverse skills that include a focus on detail, relationship building and the ability to communicate effectively with key personnel (retail store sales associates, general managers, sales managers) and consumers.  This position combines weekly or bi-weekly training store visits combined with periodic project based selling day and special events.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary duty is to create consumer awareness, product brand preference, and product mind share for hardware and software companies at the retail store level
  • Influence others to share an enthusiasm for both the company and the product line
  • Ability to merchandise client products and/or manage the client objectives in an assigned territory
  • Position requires gathering client product competitive intelligence at the store level
  • Effectively collect and communicate product information/data through appropriate channels
  • Efficiently and effectively train retail personnel on products and selling techniques
  • Ability to visually access on-site needs i.e., product and promotional/marketing material stocking
  • Meet timely required reporting deadlines
  • Periodic travel to attend other company sponsored training events or client-sponsored special events, or to cover other market areas as needed

The Regional Sales and Partner Manager will be responsible for revenue generation for MTI’s Mobility-based product lines including funnel development, sales strategy, design, implementation, and execution through both direct selling and indirect Partner-based sales channels. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large retail, restaurant and healthcare-based accounts with Enterprise-level volumes. Prefer Software, Product and Service sales experience.  This candidate must possess good communication skills, speaking ability and intellectual horsepower. This individual will be expected to deliver results that will ensure continued growth in key markets for the company. MTI requires an individual who can see the big picture and proactively manage the program to ensure client satisfaction and ultimate growth.

 Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Continuously builds the funnel by working with existing Partners to discover and cultivate new opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Revenue generation including brand development, product positioning, sales strategy, design, implementation, and execution through direct and indirect partnerships
  • Manage expectations of clients, executive management and internal functional teams

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development handling multiple large-scale accounts.
  • Experienced with Partner-based selling through large Value-Added Resellers, Integrators or Channel Partners
  • Software, Product and Service sales experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Salesforce and Dynamics AX CRM software
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to formulate pricing strategies to maximize company results
  • Effective at leading meetings with various stakeholders with competing objectives
  • Ability to actively drive professional accountability across internal partners
  • Able to work with minimal direction, multi-task, handle changing priorities, and meet aggressive client schedules
  • Able to make good decisions and execute even when faced with ambiguous or missing requirements

About the Job:
The Operations Representative is the direct operational arm of MTI Connect accounts or programs. This entry-level role is responsible for the daily oversight of all operational aspects of and account or program; ensuring all tickets are scheduled and completed within SLA, monitoring visit completion rates and ensuring all visits are completed correctly. They will act as the primary customer contact for the MTI Connect Support Center; this position provides high-touch, personalized customer support to both internal and external partners and continually strives to exceed customer expectations regarding response time, product knowledge, effective problem resolution, stellar service, and overall MTI operational knowledge.
Required Background and Skills:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience required, preferably in a high volume call center environment
• Shows a passion for and is consistent in servicing internal and external customers
• Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Capable of learning MTI’s products, processes, and organization
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task a must
• Ability to interact and interface effectively with all levels of internal and external customers

• Answers incoming telephone calls, emails and chat communication in a call center environment keeping a “customer first” mentality from engagement until the conclusion
• Combine fieldwork needs from multiple sources and dispatch technician in most cost-effective manner
• Monitor to ensure all technicians being scheduled have completed training
• Monitor Parts shipments to ensure all shipments are in time for visit completion
• Escalates unresolved issues to Tier II Customer Support and/or FSS teams
• Additional responsibilities as defined by Manager or Supervisor.
• Participates in the on-call rotation to support customers after-hours and on weekends.
