CLIENT

The client is a leader in Canadian telecommunications, providing cable TV, interactive multimedia, internet access, and wireless telephone services.

Challenge

The client was looking to reduce thefts and false alarms in their mobile technology stores while keeping the displays visually appealing. After trying several other vendors without success, they came to MTI.

Approach

A meeting was set up with the Loss Prevention and Marketing managers to discuss the problems the client was facing; followup meetings were then scheduled to demonstrate MTI’s solutions.

A 33-position pilot of Lockdown Round Freedom Micro displays was installed at one of the store’s locations in Quebec. In addition to installation, twice-weekly technician visits were included during the trial period to ensure that everything was working properly and to train the store’s employees.

Results

The Loss Prevention and Marketing managers came to the store to evaluate the installation and the training process. Three weeks after the installation, the client’s lead team decided they had found their solution, and signed a contract with MTI for the retrofit of 150 stores, which will continue through 2022.
